Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: According to American College of Rheumatology degenerative osteoarthritis that was severe enough to warrant TKA after an adequate trial of nonoperative therapy and the need for bilateral TKA.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with a previous high tibial or distal femoral osteotomy, any operation involving the extensor mechanism, a history of septic arthritis of the knee or osteomyelitis. OA Outerbridge 4.
