Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Endometrial tissues were obtained from twenty women undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF) who had at least three previous failed treatment cycles; normal endometrial specimens were obtained from ten fertile control women.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: None of the patients had received steroid hormone therapy (HT) within the previous 3 months, and none exhibited any obvious internal medicine or surgical comorbidities. Women with endometrial abnormalities, hydrosalpinx, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, or lesions were excluded.
