Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) patients aged 43-93 years, ischemic stroke or clinical symptoms of chronic progressive type, manifested as dizziness and headache, memory loss, depression, poor speech, numbness, walking gait instability, etc.; head CT Or magnetic resonance imaging of patients with LA; while patients without LA in the same period as the control group; (2) patients can cooperate with head magnetic resonance examination; (3) to do TCD test, it needs bilateral temporal window to sound well, and can cooperate with Valsalva action. (4) there was no MCA, vertebra-basilar artery and intracranial and external carotid artery more than 50% stenosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) There are contraindications to head magnetic resonance; (2) cerebrovascular disease sequelae heavier, such as disturbance of consciousness, aphasia, etc .; visual impairment can not cooperate with various scoring scales; (3) past serious respiratory disease, severe cardiovascular events, severe liver and kidney dysfunction; (4) white matter damage diseases: such as subcortical arteriosclerotic encephalopathy, immune white matter demyelination, hypoxic encephalopathy, normal intracranial pressure hydrocephalus, hypoglycemia or poisoning caused by encephalopathy, multiple sclerosis, Hereditary white matter disease; (5) TCD detection of bilateral temporal window signal is poor, or because of cardiopulmonary dysfunction can not cooperate with Valsalva action; (6) head CT or MRI showed intracranial infarction lesions (old or new) diameter greater than 1.5cm; (7) TCD, carotid artery ultrasound, head MRA or CTA examination, found in the intracranial or extracranial carotid artery or MCA, vertebra-basilar artery more than moderate stenosis (50%).
