Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients consistent with diagnostic criteria of diabetes (fasting glucose > 7.0 mmol/L); 2. Patients consistent with diagnostic criteria of prediabetes (1. IFG: FPG 5.6 ? 6.9 mmol/L or 2. IGT: OGTT 2h PG7.8 - 11.0 mmol/L or 3. A1C 5.7 - 6.4%); 3. Patients aged between 30 and 70 years old; 4. Patients signed informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with following cerebrocardiovascular event: cerebrovascular accidents, myocardial infarction or heart failure within 6 months; severe organic cardiopathy; giant or dissecting aneurysms; angina pectoris; atrioventricular block over II degree and sicksinussyndrome; 2. Patients with impaired function of liver and kidney (AST and ALT = 1.5 times of upper limit of normal value; Cr > normal value; positive urine protein; non-menses); 3. Fasting triglyceride = 10mmol/L; 4. Patients with other endocrine diseases, autoimmune disorders, tumor or severe lethal diseases administered with glucocorticoid, antibiotics or Chinese herbs; 5. Women in pregnancy or to be pregnant; women in lactation; 6. Patients with psychosis or insight; patients who are unable to express exact intention or dont cooperate (dont obey the regulation of diet and medication); 7. Patients participating or participated other clinical trials within 4 weeks; 8. Allergic patients.
