Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria included patients age from 18 to 55 years with a diagnosis of heroin dependence; a heroin-positive urine analysis detected by thin-layer chromatography (TLC); the last drug used from 8 to 36 hours; written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included serious opiate withdrawal symptoms including disturbance of consciousness or serious vehement or severe dehydration or the attempt of suicide; current psychiatric illnesses or dementia pregnancy or breast feeding; the serious infectious diseases and the serious disease of heart lung kidney liver central nervous system, hematopoietic cancer or an inability to understand the consent process; the allergy history of the study drug.
