Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) been diagnosed as Mild-to-moderate depressive Disorder with the "International Classification of Diseases and diagnostic criteria", except bipolar depression; (2) the total score of 17-items Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17) is more than 17; (3) both male and female, 18 to 45 years old; (4)haven't used any antidepressant for at least 1 month; (5)course of the disease is more than 2 weeks; (6)dextromanuality; (7)without MRI scan contraindications; (8)sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) received other clinical trails during the last 4 weeks; (2) Schizophrenia, alcohol and drug dependence; (3) Organic brain disease and endocrine diseases; (4)suicide item score of HAMD is greater than or equal to 3; (5)blood routine, heart, liver and kidney was abnormal; (6) pregnant women and breast-feeding women and other condition unsuitable for acupuncture; (7)mania or hypomanic episode; (8)Space claustrophobia; (9)metal material such as heart stents or metal dentures in corpora.
