Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 80 patients undergoing the arthrolysis surgery of the elbow joint were prospectively enrolled. Inclusion criteria were age between 18 and 65 years, American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I to III and body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 35 kg/m^2.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were inability to consent to the study, preexisting neuropathy, coagulopathy, hepatic or renal failure, allergy to local anesthetic agents, pregnancy or lactational period, difficulty in understanding the visual analog scale (VAS), prior surgery in the infraclavicular or axillary regions and infection near the possible catheter insertion sites.
