Eligibility

Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years; both sex; 2. CKD stage 3-5 patients; 3. serum potassium 5.0 to 6.0mmol/L; 4. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with severe arrhythmia or the electrocardiogram showed high peaked T wave; 2. With hypercalcemia (Ca concentration is higher than 2.5mmol/L); 3. With severe metabolic acidosis (CO2-CP less than 18 mmol/L or less than 40% volume); 4. Patients prone to constipation; 5. Patients with intestinal stenosis; 6. Patients with peptic ulcer; 7. Patients with tumor; 8. Allergy or intolerance to the polystyrene sulfonic acid calcium or other ion-exchange resin drug; 9. Patients who couldn't cooperate the study; 10. Enrolled other clinical research within 3 months or at the same time participating in other clinical studies; 11. The researchers determined not be fit for this research; 12. Pregnancy test positive for women.
