18 Years to 65 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. fulfilling vestibular migraine according to ICHD-3beta; 2. 2 to 8 migraine attacks per month and Headache days less than 15 days per mouth during the last 3 months and during the baseline period; 3. had had migraines for at least 12 months; 4. onset of migraines before 50 years old; 5. To be aged 18 to 65 years; 6. did not take any prophylactic migraine medication during the previous 12 months; 7. written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Congenital inner ear diseases, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, Menieres disease, profound hearing loss, chronic discharging ear, past history of ear surgery; 2. CT/MRI scan suggested the central nervous system lesions(stroke/intracranial tumors etal); 3. inability to distinguish between migraine attacks and additional primary headache; 4. psychotic; 5. secondary headaches; 6. use of analgesics on more than 10 days per month; 7. any acupuncture treatment during the last 12 months; 8. medication overuse, use of antidepressant drugs last 12 weeks, alcohol or narcotic drug abusers; 9. planing or being pregnant or lactation; 10. Obvious pathological constitution.
