18 Years to 60 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) chronic periodontitis (according to the criteria of the 1999 international classification (Armitage 1999);2) the Probing depth of all the teeth are less than or equal to 8mm in the baseline; 3) at least 2 teeth with PD=5mm and CAL=3mm in each side; 4) no uncontrolled systematic disease, not pregnant or breast-feeding; 5) no periodontal treatment in the last 6 months; 6) no antibiotics treatment in the previous 3 months or follow-up time; 7) no smoking; 8) no unilateral mastication; 9) no bad prosthesis;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: uncontrolled systematic disease, smoking, pregnant or breast-feeding females, received periodontal treatment in the last 6 months, received antibiotics treatment in the previous 3 months or follow-up time, unilateral mastication, less than 2 teeth with PD=5mm and CAL=3mm in each side.
