18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. aged between 18 and 75 years; 2. scheduled for elective and first off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting surgery; 3. body mass index less than 30 or more than 18.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) the existence of scars or skin infection on or near the selected acupoints; (2) the existence of upper and lower limb nerve injury; (3) preoperative inotropic drugs and/or intra-aortic balloon pump support; (4) the existence of a ventricular pacemaker; (5) congestive heart failure (left or right ventricular ejection fraction less than 40%); history of severe neurologic, muscular, pulmonary, renal, or hepatic disease; (6) alcohol or drug abuse.
