Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 80 healthy patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status (ASA) 1-2, scheduled for elective ambulatory surgery and in whom a LMA was indicated for anaesthesia were recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those aged 70 years, those weight 30kg.m-2, a high risk of regurgitation or aspiration, those with a potentially difficult airway (a history of difficulty airway, mouth opening 2h, those who required prone position during the surgery.
