38 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA I to II patients aged 20-60 years who underwent open abdominal surgery were recruited into this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Significant pulmonary disease with abnormalities in spirometry consistent with either obstructive or restrictive pulmonary disease, active asthma(requiring chronic bronchodilator therapy), previous lung surgery, home oxygen therapy, significant cardiac dysfunction(left ventricular ejection fraction 35 kg m-2.
