Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: scheduled for elective unilateral great saphenouse vein varicose surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. allergy or hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics; 2. infection at the intended injection site; 3. peripheral neuropathy; 4. language barrier; 5. disturbance of consciousness.
