Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pupils aged 9-11 years students in the local primary school; 2. Middle-school students aged 12-14 years students in the local middle school; 3. White-collar workers aged 18-60 years adult who had little sunshine exposure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participating in other clinical studies within previous 3 months; 2. Taking vitamin D supplements within previous 3 months; 3. Using medications that may affect vitamin D metabolism in previous 3 months; 4. Women during pregnancy or lactation; 5. Concomitant with clinical conditions, like liver dysfunction, which may affect vitamin D metabolism.
