Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with mitral valve diseases that need surgical treatments,if the patient's echocardiographic examination of preoperation is mild tricuspid regurgitation with the maximal tricuspid annulus dimension/body surface area = 21mm/m2, were recruited as subjects in present study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: moderate or above tricuspid regurgitation; tricuspid stenosis; cardiac reoperation; tricuspid regurgitation induced by infective endocarditis; Ebstein's anomaly.
