Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients were satisfied with the criteria of American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I or II classification (ref.); 2. Adults; 3. Patients were without serious cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases; 4. Patients were in need for general anesthesia and endotracheal intubation; 5. Patients were without coagulation dysfunction.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients underwent oral, ear, nose or throat operations; 2. Patients were with the upper respiratory diseases (e.g., tumor, polyps, severe inflammation and trauma, abscesses or foreign objects); 3. Patients had symptoms of sore throat, hoarseness; 4. Patients with the mouth opening <1.5 cm; 5. Patients were unable to tolerate the mask ventilation; 6. Patients were anticipated with anesthesia for more than five hours.
