the mid-dose group:The patients first received 0.5ug/kg per 10min of DEX via an IV infusion pump for 10 min

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Included in this study were patients who were retained in the intensive care unit (ICU) and needed sedation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: BP>200mmhg and HR <60bpm or in a state of shock
