15 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. chronic ankle instability needs to accept operation; 2. ultrasound and arthroscopic procedure shows the quaulity of the ATFL remnant is good enough; 3. ultrasound shows no other ligament is injuried expect ATFL.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. the patient has the previous operation at the same limb; 2. the patient accepts the bony procedure at the same time; 3. obvious deformity of foot or ankle at the same limb; 4. Other ligament is found to need repair at the operation.
