Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. period from January 2014 to December 2014 in our department underwent primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty patients, a total of 200 cases, the treatment group and control group randomly each 100 cases; 2. aged 60 -80 years old; 3. male or female.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Fever than >37 degree C; 2. Dehydrated patients; 3. Taking diuretics; 4. Hypertensive patients; 5. Patients with creatinine clearance rate less than 35mL/min; 6. Patients with signs of acute kidney injury; 7. Allergic to bisphosphonates or any excipients in pharmaceutical ingredients; 8. Patients with hypocalcemia; 9. Patients with hypercalcemia; 10. Fractures in acute phase (in 3 month); 11. Active stage of cancer; 12. other metabolic osteodystrophy in addition to osteoporosis; 13. Patients with delirium or dementia can not obtain informed consent; 14. Patients participating in another clinical trials; 15. Patients who are not suitable for clinical trials for other reasons.
