Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Scoring 20 or higher on HDRS and diagnosis of MDD by a psychiatrist according to the DSM-IV criteria

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe head trauma and learning disabilities, current or lifetime psychotic symptoms, bipolar disorder, and alcohol or substance abuse within the past 6 months.
