Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) at least 50 years old; (2) a primary diagnosis of mild to severe TBI requiring admission to the inpatient unit of neurosurgery, neurology, or rehabilitation in the three hospitals; (3) out of acute hospital care (approximately 1~ 3 months after TBI); (4) intact hand function for operating a computer; and (5) having cognitive impairment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) if they do not have a computer; (2) if they are not discharged to a community setting; (3) cannot ambulate independently and communicate with researchers; and (4) if they have a previous severe TBI, a major unstable cardiopulmonary disease (eg, ischemic chest pain, shortness of breath, recurrent syncopal episodes, orthopnea, paroxysmal nocturnal dyspnea, palpitations, or tachycardia), contraindications to physical exercise (eg, severe osteoarthritis that limits exercise capability).
