18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 to 90 years old; 2. there is a clear source of infection, infection or highly suspected exist, in line with the 2001 international conference on sepsis definition of sepsis in the diagnosis of the new standard.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. poor general condition; 2. pregnant or lactating women; 3. dying patients can't tolerate statins, not by oral use of statins; 4. poor ALT > 5 times in patients with normal liver function, or abnormal muscle enzymes CK > 10 times the normal value; 5. in ICU patients taking a statin within 72 hours before.
