Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 children 3-7 years of age, classified as American Society of Anesthesiologists [ASA] physical status I-II, undergoing tonsillectomy during general anaesthesi.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Allergy to any of the medications used,severe cardiovascular disease, kidney or liver dysfunction, petic ulceration.
