Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Upper urinary tract stones (renal stones or proximal ureteral stones less than 5 cm to the pelvis) less than 3 cm in diameter confirmed by imaging test; 2. Aged between 18 and 80 years old; 3. Agree to participate in this clinical study, complete postoperative follow-up and sign the informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Anatomic abnormalityUreteral stricture, ureteropelvic junction obstruction, infundibular stenosis, impassible urethral stricture; 2. Renal insufficiency (serum creatinine greater than 3.0 mg/dl); 3. InfectionUncontrolled urinary tract infection, pyonephrosis, sepsis; 4. Comorbidities that interfere with the participation or completion of the study, e.g. myocardial infarction, stroke, congestive heart failure, severe chronic respiratory lung disease, cancer, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, pregnancy, severe systemic diseases or psychosis; 5. Coagulopathy or currently on anti-coagulation therapy; 6. Currently involved in other clinical studies; 7. Refuse to randomization; 8. No plan to return to our hospital for D-J stent removal and relevant follow-up a month after surgery; 9. Refuse to sign informed consent.
