Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) histologically or cytology confirmed inoperable NSCLC; 2) Aged 18–70 years; 3) a Karnofsky Performance Status score =70%; 4) adequate bone marrow, liver and renal function; neutrophils = 1.5×10^9/L, platelets 80×10^9/L, hemoglobin =80g/L, AST and ALT =2× the upper limit of the institutional normal range, total bilirubin =1.25× the upper limit of the institutional normal range, and creatinine concentration =120 umol/L; 5) no contraindication for radiotherapy and chemotherapy; 6) patients were expected to receive thoracic radiotherapy at a dose of =40 Gy in 20 fractions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) a history involving thoracic surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy; 2) pregnancy or lactation; 3) previous malignancy or other concomitant malignant disease.
