Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. diagnosis of hemiplegic cerebral palsy according to clinical criteria; 2. minimum age of 6 years old and maximum age of 18 years old; 3. the ability to extend the wrist >=20 degree and the metacarpophalangeal joint 10 degree from full flexion; 4. a 20–80% difference between the involved and noninvolved hand on the globe rating scale scores; 5. informed consent form could be got from parents and to comply with study instructions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. any health problems that are not associated with cerebral palsy, uncontrolled seizures; 2. contractures that limit functional arm and hand use; received botulinum toxin injection in the upper limb during the last 6 months or who wish to receive it within the period of study; 3. visual and balance problems that would prevent them from carrying out the intervention or assessment.
