Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All gynecology patients were ASA physical status I or II, aged between 20 and 45 yrs old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were history of cardiac, pulmonary, liver, brain or renal disease; drug or alcohol abuse; significant obesity (body mass index > 30 kg/m2); current use of any vasoactive medications; current use of any medications known to affect MAC or sympathetic responses; and contraindication for inhalational induction.
