Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria were coronary artery disease and residence in Beijing.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were as follows: patients with chronic renal failure, chronic liver disease, obstructive sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, systemic infection, inflammatory diseases, trauma, bone disorders, and/or thyroid disorders. Patients who underwent coronary stent implantation before were excluded from the study. Patients were also excluded if they were taking cholecalciferol or vitamin D3 tablets, either of which can have an effect on the vitamin D level.
