Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients fit the definition of sepsis and AKI were according to 2001 SCCM/ESICM/ACCP/ATS/SIS international sepsis definitions conference and AKIN criteria in 2005

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they were younger than 12 years or older than 70 years, had pre-admission CBP, or were treated with CBP for non-renal indications or chronic renal illness, CBP was delivered for less than 24h, ICU stay less than 72h or were terminally ill.
