Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, aged between 10 to 18 years old; 2. diagnosis as Lenke type V; 3. main lumbar curve between 40 degree to 80 degree; or primary lumbar curve between 35 degree to 40 degree, curve progressive per year >5 degree; 4. CT shows apical vertebral rotation (HO'S method)>10 degree, whole spine anteroposterior film shows apical vertebral rotation (Nash-Moe method)> degree I; 5. primary scoliosis surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) not adolescent idiopathic scoliosis; (2) aged 18 years old; (3) diagnosis as Lenke type V; (4) main lumbar curve 80 degree; or primary lumbar curve between 35 degree to 40 degree, curve progressive per year< 5 degree; (5) CT shows apical vertebral rotation (HO'S method)< 10 degree, whole spine anteroposterior film shows apical vertebral rotation (Nash-Moe method)< degree I; (6) not primary scoliosis surgery; (7)No surgery contraindications.
