Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients had a history of chronic hepatitis B of >6 month or were positive for HBsAg for 6 months; patients had obvious or continuous symptoms of hepatitis (such as fatigure,poor appetite,abdominal distension, dark urine, loose stools) and signs of hepatitis (Hepatic face, liver palms, spider angiomas, splenomegaly) and repeated or continuous increase in ALT/AST. One of following items can be used to determine the severe chronic hepatitis B: (1) ALB5 times of normal upper limit; (3) PTA 40-60%; (4) CHE <2500 U/L. 2. Patients were 18-60 years old, and gender was not restricted.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients had alcoholic,drug-induced, genetic,autoimmune,or metabolic hepatitis or hepatitis caused by other virus; (2) Patients had complications of hepatitis (such as upper gastrointestinal bleeding, infection,hepatic encephalopathy, ascites, electrolyte imbalance), and other diseases (such as diabetes, rheumatoid disease, coronary heart disease tumors or infection of other systems); (3) Patients had severe diseases of the heart, lung, kidney, brain or hematopoietic system or wasting diseases; (4) Patients had allergies or a history of sensitivity to several drugs; (5) Patients were pregnant or breast-breeding; patients had no self-reporting ability; patients were treated with vitamin within 6 months before study; patients were treated with anti-oxidants (such as milk thistle, tiopronin, glutathione preparations).
