Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 144 patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation or scoliosis and underwent selective prominent discectomy, 144 patients diagnosed as lumbar disc herniation or scoliosis and underwent selective prominent discectomy, fusion and internal fixation or scoliosis surgery with general anaesthesia were enrolled. The preoperative hemoglobin levels of male patients were higher than 120g/L, and its for female patients were higher than 110g/L. All patients preoperative hematocrit were higher than 35%.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: known history of cardiovascular diseases, liver and kidney diseases, metabolic disorders and blood diseases, anti-clotting drug use.
