Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Who diagnosed with esophageal squamous carcinoma,and undergone a transhiatal esophagectomy and intrathoracic gastric tube reconstruction with cervical anastomosis because of esophageal squamous carcinoma.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with anastomotic-stenosis caused by anastomotic recurrence of cancer and polyps; and with a Karnofsky status < 40% ; who underwent APC, and any form of re-canalization in the previous 30 days; and those presenting with an esophageal fistula or with infiltration on the trachea or main bronchi on computed tomography will be excluded.
