Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Men or women aged 18 to 80; 2. Persistent chest pain more than 30 minutes; 3. Electrocardiogram (ecg) of two or more adjacent lead ST segment elevation 0.1mV (0.2mV chest lead); 4. Onset to first medical contact time within 12 hours; 5. No direct PCI contraindications; 6. Agree to accept direct PCI therapy and agreed to participate in clinical research.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria of preliminary screening: 1. Patients were treated with thrombolytic therapy; 2. Patients with contraindications of coronary angiography and Direct PCI, such as allergy to contrast agents; with hemorrhagic disease or at high risk of bleeding; can't tolerate aspirin and/or clopidogrel and other antiplatelet drugs; with serious infectious diseases; at the end-stage of organic function failure or with advanced cancers and the life expectancy is less than a year; 3. Known allergy to statins or can not tolerate statins; 4. Previous or current treatment with statins; 5. Patients with cardiac shock; 6. Patients who can not take Atorvastatin because of without the placement of stomach tube after cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or endotracheal intubation; 7. A history of myocardial infarction; 8. Patients who refuse to participate in clinical research. Exclusion criteria after the coronary angiography: 1.Patients are not suitable for the treatment of Direct PCI; 2.Patients and/or the family refuse to Direct PCI because of economic or other reasons.
