Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from symptomatic grade III or IV haemorrhoidal disease and requiring surgery; (2) Patient (male or female) aged 18-85 years; (3) Patients who are able to understand the information given and are willing to give a written consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. incontinence (Wexner score > 12); 2. Acute complication of haemorrhoidal disease; 3. History of anal surgery for haemorrhoids; 4. Congenital or acquirred anal stenosis; 5. Rectal prolapse or Anal fissure or perianal abcess or Anal fistula; 6. Inflammatory bowel disease or irritable bowel syndrome; 7. Colon or rectal cancerv History of rectal or sigmoid resection; 8. Portal vein hypertension; 9. Haemophylia or Patients taking immunosuppressant medication; 10. Pregnancy or Lactating women; 11. patients combined with severe mental disorders; 12. Patients not able to follow the study protocol or Unwilling or unable to sign informed consent.
