Interventions

Early Feeding:Given 200-250ml of liquid (water, tea, milk, juices in tetra/tinned packs) after two hours of surgery. If woman tolerated liquid diet well, solid diet was started after four hours post o
Conventional Feeding:CF intervention followed the conventional regime, receiving clear fluids after 12 hours and solid diet 18 hours post C-Sec.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The women who consented and had C-Sec under spinal anesthesia with out co-morbidity (Medical, obstetric or surgical history of any serious illness).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. C-Sec under general anesthesia. 2. Vaginal birth
