Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with stroke according to the criteria of Various types of cerebrovascular disease diagnostic criteria (passed in the fourth academic meeting of cerebrovascular disease held by Chinese Medical Association in the year of 1995), and confirmed by head CT or MRI; 2. A history of first stroke>3 months; 3. Aged 45 to 75; 4. Manifestation of balance dysfunction; 5. Ability to walk at least 6 metres with or without aids; 6. Willingness to provide informed consent, able to understand, accept and implement rehabilitation guidance.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Balance dysfunction caused by other encephalopathy, such as brain tumor, brain trauma, brain parasitic diseases; 2. Vestibular problems; 3. Existing the disease affected training:serious Joint disease of the lower limbs, Arthritis or joint damage, Myelopathic type cervical vertebra disease, the lumbosacral vertebral canal stenosis, lower extremity neuropathy; 4. Serious vision impairment or hearing impairment that would impede full participation; 5. Receptive aphasia (inability to understand instructions); 6. Patients who participated in the tai chi training for latest 6 months; 7. Patients who have serious complications of stroke such as severe pulmonary infection,shoulder hand syndrome,lower limb venous thrombosis; 8. Patients who have serious heart disease;Heart, liver or kidney failure; A malignant tumor; Gastrointestinal bleeding; 9. Patients who participate in other clinical researches which affect the evaluation results; 10. Mini-Mental State Exam score<=24.
