18 Years to 35 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged from 18 to 35 years; 2. Diagnosis of PCOS: oligomenorrhea or amenorrhea (less than 8 cycles per year) and in line with one of the following conditionsclinical presentation or biochemical presentation of hyper-androgenemia, or ovarian polycystic changes by ultrasound B examination; 3. BMI>23.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. take the medicine which affects the outcome in the past 3 month, such as the contraceptives or other hormone drugs, insulin sensitizing agents, lipid-lowering drugs etc.; 2. other hyperandrogen related diseases (including 21 hydroxylase deficiency of congenital adrenal hyperplasia, androgen secreting tumors, excessive use of androgen production of drugs, Cushing syndrome, severe insulin resistance, thyroid dysfunction and hyperprolactinemia); 3. heart, liver, kidney and other important organic lesions or patients with mental disorders or the patients who can not cooperate with the treatment in study; 4. to be treated by using acupuncture for the condition in past 6 months; 5. have had fertility requirements in past 6 months.
