Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. patients suffered from cervical carcinoma and scheduled for elective colorectal surgery; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I to III; 3. Aged between 18 to 75 years; 4. body weight betwween 45-65kg; 5. obtaining written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: known allergies to local anesthetics, chronic use of analgesics or corticosteroids, underlying inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis), prolonged postoperative ventilatory support, impaired liver function, severe cardiac arrhythmia,and mental disorders
