40 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: more than 6 months from the most recent stroke; to be able to walk independently (with or without assistive instruments); to be able to plantar-flex actively; have significant physical differences between paralytic and healthy ankle, such as stiffness,compliance of soft tissue,ROM and muscle strength of dorsi-flexion, etc.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy or possible pregnancy;not be able to comprehend or follow instructions; with severe diseases uncontrolled , such as fluctuation of blood-glucose or blood pressure, malignant tumor, frequent angina, risk of hemorrhage, frequent onsets or acute deterioration of pain at low back and lower-limb, unhealed trauma on the involved lower-limb, etc; intake any substance that will affect the excitability of nervous system or muscle 24-48 hours before the treatment, including tranquilizers, sedatives or alcohol, etc.
