Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I,II; children aged 1-3 years;children weighing 8-18kg; inguinal hernia andhydrocele in children

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: children were excluded if they have neurological, neuromuscular, psychiatrics, blood clotting disorders, or a known history of active andsevere renal, hepatic, respiratory of cardiac disease, or a known allergy to local anaesthetics
