20 Years to 40 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 20-40 years old pregnancy; willing to participant the trial; undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia; falling within the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) level of I-II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The subjects were excluded with a history of dexamethasone intolerance or past hypersensitivity reaction to it, past history of chronic headache or recent onset acute headache, history of known emotional or mental illness. Patients that had experienced pre-eclampsia, hypertension, diabetes or skin infection at the site of needle insertion were also excluded. Those with diseases of the haematopoietic system, abnormal renal or hepatic function, cerebral diseases, or alcohol abuse.
