Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with total hip replacement; 2. femoral trochanter fracture fixation; 3. inline femoral neck fracture fixation; 4. Inline femoral fracture fixation; 5. More than 65 years old patients with arthroscopic surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria were contraindications to epidural anesthesia, pre-existing mental and neurological diseases, chronic pain, alcohol or drug abuse, mental retardation, coagulation disorders, infection at the puncture site or intracranial hypertension.
