Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Experimental group: Elders ranging 50-75 years old are diagnosed having a 5-year history of type 2 diabetes, taking 2-3 hypoglycemic drugs, HbA1C>8%, no wound or tissue inflammation at the treated regions of brainstem, spine, abdomen and sole. Original therapy, diet and life style of the subjects signed the consents were not altered; 2.Control group: Elders ranging 50-75 years old are diagnosed without type 2 diabetes, no wound or tissue inflammation at the regions of brainstem, spine, abdomen and sole placed the compress equipment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects having insulin injection, epilepsy, disability or wounds as well as those unsuitable for hot compress are excluded.
