Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. People residing in one of the administrative rural villages of Liuyang during the past year; 2. Diagnosed by psychiatrists for schizophrenia;3.Eligible and registered for the free medication from Project 686.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: We exclude those who hold a resident permit of Liuyang villages but do not actually live in the village over the past year.
