18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Good adherence to patients and their families with informed consents; 2. ICU Inpatients with ages between 18-65; 3. Admitted within 72 hours after injury and be diagnosed as severe trauma; 4. APACHE II >=15 or ISS >=16 points, the expected survival time> 7 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of any of the following: signs or symptoms of cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, chronic inflammatory disease, malignancy, connective tissue disease (arthritis, vasculitis), Advanced neurological disease, Serious coagulant function abnormality; 2. Smoking; 3. Use of cholinergic, anti-cholinergic, or beta-blocking medications; 4. Ear infection; 5. Previous vagal collapse; 6. splenectomy or splenic neuretomy.
