Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. informed concent; 2. Aged 18-75years, ASA I-III stage colorectal cancer; 3. no recurrence.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included age, younger than 18 yr or older than 75 yr; American Society of Anesthesiology risk grade 4; any contraindication to administration of midazolam, fentanyl, propofol, sevoflurane, or morphine; or any contraindication to performance of epidural blockade; previous colorectal surgery.
