Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Standard of IBS patients: 1. Diagnosed according to Rome III criterion; 2. Aged 18-60, both male and female; 3. Willing to participate in the study and sign the informed consent. Standard of healthy subjects: 1. Nearly six months without recurrent abdominal pain or discomfort, defecate effort, endless defecate feeling. Defecate frequency normal (1-2 times/day). Waste character normal (soft forming); 2. Without gastrointestinal organic disease, and bowel function is abnormal; 3. Stool test normal; 4. Colonoscopy is not necessary. But normal colonoscopy report can support the healthy subjects into groups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Including IBS patients and healthy subjects: 1. Subjects were older than sixty years old, or less than eighteen years old; 2. Digestive system organic illnesses, such as ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease, etc.; 3. Other organic diseases, such as diabetes, thyroid function hyperfunction, connective tissue diseases, systemic neuromuscular disease and important organs disease, such as history of abdominal surgery; 4. Pregnancy or lactation women.
