Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We included patients aged 16 years or greater who were admitted for CO poisoning within 12 h after the end of CO exposure.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included (1) mixed poisoning; (2) pregnancy; (3) previous diagnosed neuropsychiatrical disease; (4) burn or any kind of trauma; and (5) hematological disease or cancer.
